1.Disconnecting a single social channel
If you want to remove Onecast’s access to a specific profile (e.g. on Instagram or Facebook) without deleting the whole Workspace:
- Sign in to Onecast.
- Go to Channels.
- Choose to disconnect the profile — a dialog describing the consequences opens.
- Optionally tick Also delete this profile’s history from Onecast.
- Confirm with Disconnect profile (or Disconnect and delete data if you ticked history deletion).
When you disconnect, Onecast immediately:
- deletes the stored access tokens for that profile — from then on it can neither publish on your behalf nor retrieve data from the platform,
- deletes all stored comments of that profile,
- deletes publications imported from the platform (created earlier directly on the platform, not through Onecast).
The history of posts published through Onecast on that profile (with statistics) stays in the Workspace. If you tick “Also delete this profile’s history from Onecast”, we additionally delete all of the profile’s publications and statistics, its follower history and its entries in posts — and a post that no longer has any other profile is deleted entirely. Posts also sent to other profiles remain, with those profiles. This cannot be done while a publication on that profile is in progress. YouTube exception: after a YouTube channel is disconnected, only data created in Onecast remains (post content and media, publication times and statuses) — all data retrieved from YouTube, including statistics, the channel’s name, handle and ID and video IDs, is deleted without undue delay, and the channel is shown in the history as “Disconnected YouTube channel”.
Neither disconnecting a profile nor deleting data in Onecast deletes posts or other content from the social platform itself — you do that directly on the platform, which is a separate controller of that data.
2.Deleting a post, media or a comment
- A post (draft, scheduled or published) is deleted from the post list. It disappears at once from the post list and calendar, and scheduled publications are cancelled. Its technical record and the data of its publications (including statistics) remain in the database until the Workspace, Organization or Account, or the profile history, is deleted. A published post stays on the platform until you delete it there. A post cannot be deleted while it is being published.
- Media (image, video) are deleted in the media library, provided they are not used by a scheduled or publishing post; media used in a published post can be archived. Deletion covers all versions, variants and derived files of the media. Files are erased from storage in the background — usually within minutes; in case of technical problems the attempts are retried automatically until they succeed. A file still used by another existing item is not deleted while that item exists.
- Another person’s comment is deleted on the platform. When the platform notifies Onecast of the deletion, its text and author data disappear from Onecast immediately. Comments are also deleted automatically after 30 days — see the Privacy Policy.
3.Deleting a Workspace
A Workspace can be deleted by its Owner in the Workspace settings, confirmed by typing its name. The only Workspace of an Organization cannot be deleted — delete the whole Organization instead. Deleting a Workspace is permanent and immediate:
- it cancels scheduled publications,
- deletes all Channels with their access tokens, publications, statistics and comments,
- deletes posts, media (files are erased from storage in the background, as above), tags, collections and notifications of the Workspace,
- removes all members’ access to it; invitations to other Workspaces of the same Organization remain.
Exception: a publication that was already being sent to the platform at the moment of deletion may still appear there — delete it directly on the platform. Support requests related to the Workspace remain, no longer linked to it.
4.Deleting an Organization
Each User owns one Organization, so it is deleted together with its Owner’s Account (see “Deleting your whole Account”) — after the other members have been removed from it. Deleting an Organization:
- first immediately ends in Stripe every subscription of that Organization that has not ended — if this fails (e.g. Stripe is temporarily unavailable), the deletion is aborted entirely and nothing is deleted, so that no running paid subscription is left behind. The unused, prepaid part of the period is not refunded unless a refund follows from the law,
- then permanently deletes all of the Organization’s Workspaces (as in the section above), its memberships, invitations, notifications and local subscription data.
Payment documents remain in Stripe for the period required by tax law. Contract confirmations can no longer be downloaded in the app but remain linked to the Owner’s Account (you also have them in the e-mail you received) until the Account is deleted — see below.
5.Deleting your whole Account
- Sign in to Onecast.
- Go to Settings → Profile.
- At the bottom of the page choose Delete account and confirm with your password.
Deleting the Account deletes the Organization you own, as described under “Deleting an Organization” — including ending the subscription in Stripe, Workspaces, Channels, tokens, posts and media. If it has other members, you must remove them first — until then the Account is not deleted and nothing disappears. Your memberships in other people’s Organizations, sessions, passkeys, settings and notifications are deleted too.
In other people’s Organizations you lose access, but their data remains — it belongs to them. Content you created there stays in those Organizations, no longer linked to your Account.
6.Automatic deletion of an Account and an Organization
In two cases Onecast deletes data on its own — always after notice by e-mail, as set out under “Termination by the Provider” in the Terms of Service:
- An Account that does not belong to any Organization — we delete it 30 days after the day it stopped belonging to one (or after registration, if you do not create an Organization). You see the deletion date after signing in; we remind you by e-mail 7 days and 1 day before. Creating your own Organization or accepting an invitation to a team is enough to keep the Account. While a valid invitation is waiting for your address, the Account is not deleted. The effects are the same as when you delete the Account yourself.
- An Organization without an active plan (a paid plan, a trial or a plan granted by Onecast) — we delete it 90 days after its last plan ended, after notice sent to the Owner by e-mail at least 30 days in advance. Choosing a plan before that date keeps the Organization and all its data. The effects are the same as when an Organization is deleted; if the Owner does not belong to any other Organization, we delete the Owner’s Account as well. Other members lose access to that Organization.
7.Can’t sign in?
If you no longer have access to your Account and want your data deleted, write to kontakt@onecast.pl from the e-mail address linked to the Account — we will delete the data without undue delay and no later than within one month, and data retrieved from YouTube within 7 days. If you are writing as a third party (e.g. the author of a comment under another Organization’s post), describe which content the request concerns — we will help identify the right Organization and forward your request to it. You can also delete the comment directly on the platform — its text and author data then also disappear from Onecast.
8.Data deletion instructions required by platforms
This page serves as the public “Data Deletion Instructions URL” / “User Data Deletion” address required by the platforms Onecast integrates with — in particular Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Threads). The instructions under “Disconnecting a single social channel” and “Deleting your whole Account” apply regardless of which platform the Channel comes from.
